Oltre alle attrezzature per il taglio, la movimentazione ed ai banchi di lavoro, abbiamo sviluppato una linea completa di prodotti ad hoc per l’installazione di lastre di grande formato. La corretta posa di questi materiali richiede infatti numerosi accorgimenti al fin di ottenere un risultato perfetto sia a livello estetico che tecnico/funzionale.

In particolare, ci siamo concentrati su quattro punti fondamentali:

applicazione dell’adesivo,

Eliminazione dell’aria al di sotto della lastra,

accostamento delle lastre,

corretto livellamento delle lastre.

È necessario innanzitutto applicare l’adesivo in modo corretto eseguendo la doppia spalmatura e naturalmente utilizzando spatole di adeguata dentatura. Le più indicate sono le spatole a denti inclinati che garantiscono una copertura perfetta. Anche le nuove spatole 36x12 cm rispondono tuttavia ai requisiti tecnici e la loro dimensione consente di incrementare di circa il 30% la copertura per ogni passaggio (rispetto alle spatole 28x12).

Fondamentale è eliminare l’aria che si può creare al di sotto della lastra. Se non rimossa, una volta maturato l’adesivo, l’aria genererà un vuoto che renderà la lastra facilmente soggetta a rotture. Per questo abbiamo sviluppato il frattazzo con fondo in gomma (art. 142G).

Una lastra, ad esempio, di 300x150 cm una volta posizionata è difficile da muovere al fine di accostarla correttamente alla lastra adiacente. Per risolvere questo problema abbiamo sviluppato “Closer”, dispositivo accosta lastre, che agendo meccanicamente rende agevole questa operazione.

Per una resa estetica e funzionale ottimale, è a nostro avviso fondamentale l’utilizzo del sistema livellante R.L.S.. L’elevata elasticità delle grandi lastre sottili rende praticamente impossibile mantenere le lastre perfettamente livellate tra loro senza l’ausilio di un sistema livellante. Con R.L.S. invece le lastre vengono livellate perfettamente tra loro e mantengono il livellamento anche a maturazione dell’adesivo avvenuta.

In addition to the equipment for cutting, handling and the work benches, we have developed a complete line of products specifically for the installation of large slabs. The correct installation of these materials requires in fact a number of tricks to get a perfect result in both aesthetic and technical / functional aspects.

In particular, we focused on four key points:

application of the adhesive;

elimination of the air below the slab;

accost slabs;

proper leveling of the slabs.

First of all it is fundamental to properly apply the adhesive using the “back-buttering” technique using, of course, the right notched trowel. The most suitable are the slant ridge notched trowels that guarantee a perfect coverage. Even the new notched trowels 36x12 cm, however, respond to the technical requirements and their size allows an increase of about 30% coverage for each pass (compared to 28x12 cm notched trowel).

Essential is to eliminate the air that can remain below the slab once installed. If not removed, once the adhesive set, the air will create a vacuum that will make the slabs subject to breakage. For this we have developed the hand tile beater with rubber bottom (Article 142G).

A slab, for example sized 300x150 cm, once positioned is hard to move in order to bring it closer to the adjacent slab properly. To solve this problem, we have developed "Closer", device to accost slabs, which, acting mechanically, makes this task easier.

For optimal aesthetic and functional results, it is in our opinion essential to use the Raimondi Levelling System (R.L.S.). The high elasticity of the thin slabs makes it virtually impossible to keep the slabs perfectly leveled with each other without the help of a leveling system. R.L.S. solves this problem and the slabs are perfectly leveled (lippage free), obviously even once the adhesive is set.
